Piano Cleveland is known worldwide for its competitions and respected locally for its deep ties to the Cleveland arts community. We present one of the most prestigious classical piano competitions in the world—the Cleveland International Piano Competition (CIPC)—which is renowned for its commitment to developing artists. Our CIPC for Young Artists builds on the sterling reputation of our flagship competition and has become an indicator of rising stars in the classical piano scene.
By drawing the best talent from all over the globe, we have been able to strengthen the Cleveland arts community. In non-competition years, we present Piano Days—a festival celebrating piano in all its forms. Every year we present free community concerts, educational programming at local schools, and partner with northeast Ohio universities for our Artist Development Program.
