CHENXU HAN, born in Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province, began studying under Professor Wang Chun, a renowned pianist at the Central Conservatory of Music, in 2016. In 2019, he was admitted to the Central Conservatory of Music Affiliated Middle School with outstanding grades. He is a member of the Yangtze Piano National Youth Artist Training Program, and has won the Fan Jianqin Memorial Scholarship from the Central Conservatory of Music multiple times.
Over the years, he has achieved remarkable success in numerous authoritative piano competitions both domestically and internationally. Chenxu won First Prize at several competitions, including the Children’s Group B of the 27th Chopin International Piano Competition (Beijing, 2019), the Children’s Group B of the 11th Tchaikovsky International Youth Music Competition (2021, China), the Professional Children’s Group of the 2nd European China International Music Competition National Finals (2022), the Youth Group of the Singapore International Piano Competition (2023), and the piano professional B group of the China Regional Finals of the Moscow International Music Festival (2024). He won Second Prize at the Professional Children’s Group of the Xiamen Piano Open (2021), and in the professional group of the 9th Boya Piano Competition (2023). He won the Elite Award in the Professional Youth Group of the 7th KAWAI Asian Piano Competition (Beijing, 2023). He won Third Prize in the professional group of the Jinjiang International Piano Competition (2023). He was shortlisted for the 4th China Music Little Golden Bell National Piano Exhibition (2024). Most recently, he won First Prize in the professional youth group of the 6th Xiamen Music Season International Piano Open Finals (2025), in addition to First Prize in the public B group of the China Regional Finals of the Singapore International Youth Piano Competition (2025).
Chenxu has performed in concerts at venues such as the National Centre for the Performing Arts, Beijing Zhongshan Concert Hall, the Concert Hall of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, the National Library Art Center, the Steinway House in Beijing, the Concert Hall of the Central Conservatory of Music Affiliated Middle School, the Chengdu City Concert Hall, and the Qinhuangdao Sea Concert Hall, and has successfully held solo concerts multiple times, earning unanimous praise.
