Concert Series

Spencer Myer, a native Clevelander and medalist at the 2005 Competition whose career has skyrocketed over the past several years, will return to his home town for an extraordinary concert in the Tudor Ballroom of the Tudor Arms Hotel on Sunday, November 11 at 4:00 pm.

Spencer Myer and Maribeth Crawford

Mr. Myer will perform solo works by Edward MacDowell, Samuel Barber, and Louis Moreau Gottschalk, as well as four Earl Wild etudes based on George Gershwin hits.  Following the intermission, he will be joined by soprano Maribeth Crawford for a selection of bright and breezy favorites from the Great American Songbook.

Audience members wishing to meet the artists and enjoy an elegant evening are invited to attend a celebration dinner immediately after the concert in the beautifully restored Crystal Ballroom of the Tudor Arms.  Proceeds from the dinner will benefit the 2013 Competition.
