Anastasiya Magamedova

A 2016 National YoungArts Winner, Anastasiya Magamedova began piano at the age of 5 in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, and continues her studies at The Juilliard School with Julian Martin and with Rena Shereshevskaya in Paris. Winner of the 2013 International Keyboard Odyssiad Competition, Magamedova was also a Third Prize Medalist of the 2015 IIYM Blüthner International Piano Competition and a 2015 Music Teachers National Association National Finalist, as well as a finalist in the 2015 Bösendorfer and Yamaha USAASU International Piano Competition. Anastasiya has soloed in halls such as Alice Tully Hall at Lincon Center for the Performing Arts, and Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall and has performed with the Utah Symphony, American West Symphony, and Chorus of Sandy, and Wratislava Chamber Orchestra. A recipient of the Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award, she has also been featured on NPR’s national program From the Top.
