Anna Han has performed in venues such as the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Alice Tully Hall, the Phillips Collection, the Lied Center of Kansas, SubCulture, Scottsdale Center for the Arts, and the New World Center in Miami. She has soloed with nine orchestras across the United States and has given world premieres for several works, among them Michael Brown’s Suite for Piano (2013), which she recorded for the Steinway and Sons label.
As a proud recipient of the Kovner Fellowship, Anna received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at The Juilliard School under the tutelage of Robert McDonald. There, she won the 2016 Gina Bachauer Competition and received the William Schuman Prize for outstanding achievement and leadership in music. Highlights of 2019 included third prize at the Hilton Head International Piano Competition, a Salon de Virtuosi Career Grant, and semi-finalist at the China International Music Competition. An active chamber musician, she attended the Kneisel Hall Chamber Music School three times, the Four Seasons Chamber Music Festival Winter Workshop twice, and Juilliard ChamberFest four times, and is a founding member of the Munin Piano Trio. Her previous teacher was Fei Xu.
