Bowen Li

Pianist Bowen Li has been studying with Professor Bing Han since he started piano at age of five, and is currently pursuing his Bachelor’s at the China Conservatory of Music. A performer who pianist Evgeni Bozhanov praises for his “astonishing maturity, fine musicianship as well as great enthusiasm for diversity of styles,” Bowen has won many awards at prestigious international piano competitions. Bowen was a winner at the highest award for China National Piano Competition—“Chinese Golden Bell Award For Music”—which is organized by China Federation of Literary and Art Circles. In 2020, he won First Prize at the 22nd Scriabin International Piano Competition in Gulangyu, and won the First Prize at the 9th Giorgos Thymis International Piano Competition in Greece in 2019. He was also a participant of the 16th Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition this year. In addition, Bowen has performed with the many orchestras, such as Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra, Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra, Xiamen Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestra Academia China, Harbin Conservatory Chamber Orchestra, EOS Symphony Orchestra, and Sichuan Conservatory Symphony Orchestra. He also has been invited to perform recitals and concerti across many cities in the world, including the Greece Thessaloniki Concert Hall in Greece, Beijing Forbidden City Concert Hall, Gulangyu Concert Hall, China Conservatory of Music Concert Hall, Guangzhou Xinghai Concert Hall, Harbin Concert Hall, Berlin Chinese Cultural Center, Harbin Conservatory of Music, Jilin University of Arts, and Xinjiang Normal University Conservatory of Music.
