Daria Parkhomenko

Daria Parkhomenko was born in Rostov. She began her formal studies with Prof. Sergei Osipenko at the Rostov State Rachmaninov Conservatoire, studying with him for 12 years. She moved to Hamburg, Germany in 2013 to continue her training at the Hochschule with Prof. Stepan Simonian, with whom she still studies. In addition, she also studies at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole in Italy with Prof. Eliso Virsaladze. Daria is laureate of the George Enescu International Competition 2018 (First Prize), Sendai International Music Competition, 2019 (Third Prize), СlaviCologne International Piano Festival, 2019 (Second Prize), “In Musica” Roma International Music Festival and Piano Competition, 2018 (Second Prize), 5th Piano Competition “Piana del Cavaliere” in memoriam Pietro Iadeluca in Carsoli, 2017 (First Prize), The Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy Conservatory Competition in Berlin, 2017 (Second Prize), Osimo International Piano Competition 2016 (Second Prize), International Competition Hamburg Composers in Hamburg, 2016 (First Prize), and the International M.K. Čiurlionis Piano and Organ Competition in Vilnius 2015 (Second Prize). Daria has performed in many of the world’s best venues, including Mariinskij Concert Hall, Hamburger Laeiszhalle, and Hong Kong City Hall Concert Hall, in addition to being featured with major international orchestras, such as Vilnius National Philharmonic and Romanian Athenaeum, in collaboration with Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra (Junichi Hirokami), Norddeutschen Philharmonie Rostock (Wojciech Rajski), National Symphony Orchestra of Romania (Vassily Sinajsky), London Chamber Orchestra (Ignat Solzhenitsyn), Lithuanian National Philharmonic (Modestas Barkauskas), Estonian National Symphony Orchestra (Arvo Volmer), Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra (Jung Park), Tainan Concert Hall, and Young Artists Orchestra (Ching-Ming Lu).
