Muzi Li has won prizes at many prestigious competitions—most recently winning the First Prize at the Salzburg Grand Prize International Music Competition (Austria, 2023), the Expressive Performance Special Prize at the UK International Music Competition, and First Prize at the Obertello International Piano Competition (Italy). At age 13, she won Third Prize at the 71st Steinway National Competition (Beijing).

Muzi also received the First Prize and the Audience Prize at the 5th Mimas Music Festival International Piano Competition, and a special scholarship award, sponsored by Krause Musical Instrument Co., Ltd. She was Gold Medalist at the 5th Francesco Cardaropoli International Competition (Salerno). In the same year she was awarded First Prize at the prestigious 14th “Giovani Musicisti ” international competition in Italy. Among her many additional honors, she also won First Prize at the 15th Massarosa International Piano Competition (Venice).

This past season, Muzi performed extensively in Europe. She has given performances at such prominent venues as the Solitär (Mozarteum University, Salzburg, Austria) the Manuel de Falla Auditorium (Madrid, Spain), and the Santa Margherita Nuova (Naples, Italy).

She has also performed in masterclasses of such distinguished teachers and performers as Alfred Brendel, Pavel Gililov, Michel Béroff, Arie Vardi, Jacques Rouvier, Boris Berman, James Giles, Ian Jones, Hortense Cartier-Bresson, and Robert Levin.

Muzi currently resides in Germany and continues her studies at the Universität der Künste (Berlin University of Arts) with Markus Groh. She is also a scholarship holder of the Musikakademie Liechtenstein (International Music Academy in Liechtenstein).
