Philipp Lynov was born in Moscow and began studying piano at the age of six. In 2017, he graduated with honors from the Central Music School at Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory. Currently he studies piano at Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory with Professor Eliso Virsaladze. Philipp is a prize winner of various international piano competitions, including First Prize at the III International Satnislav Neuhaus Piano Competition (Russia), First Prize at the IV Astana Piano Passion International Festival of Classical Music and Competition for Young Pianists (Kazakhstan), First Prize at the II International Piano Competition “Villa de Xàbia” (Spain), Gold Medal of the XIV Youth Delphic Games of Russia and others. His most recent achievement was winning First Prize at the XI International Paderewski Piano Competition (2019, Poland). Philipp has frequently performed in the leading concert halls of Russia, and has also given concerts in Germany, Poland, Spain, Italy, Israel, and Switzerland. As a soloist with orchestra, he has appeared with the Pomeranian Philharmonic Orchestra (Bydgoszcz, Poland), Region of Murcia Symphony Orchestra (Spain), Astana Symphony Philharmonic Orchestra (Kazakhstan), Irkutsk Governor’s Symphony Orchestra (Russia), Lipetsk Symphony Orchestra (Russia), Lerman chamber orchestra (Russia), Chamber Orchestra “The Seasons” (Russia), and Chamber Orchestra “Capella Bydgostiensis”(Poland).
