Following his first recital at the age of nine, Stefano Andreatta made his orchestral debut playing Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No 1. From his early years, he received numerous awards in national and international competitions for young pianists and he established himself in major international piano competitions in Italy and abroad. Stefano has played as a soloist in Italy, Germany, England, Spain, Denmark, Kazakhstan, Canada, and the United States. In 2016, he was the First Prize winner of the International Piano Competition of Friuli Venizia Giulia, also receiving special prizes for the best performances of a Beethoven sonata and of a 19th-century piece. In 2017, he won Third Prize at the prestigious Concours Musical International de Montréal. Stefano is working on a recording on the KNS Classical label, dedicated to sonatas by Scarlatti, Clementi, Beethoven, and Rachmaninoff.
