Svetlana Andreeva was born in Dzhankoy, a small city on the Crimean Peninsula in the South of Ukraine. After graduating from the Central Music School, she became a student of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory and studied piano with Professor Natalia Trull and composition with Professor Leonid Bobylev. During her studies, she also started teaching young pianists, many of whom have gained a lot of success on the international level. In 2011, Svetlana won her first Grand Prize at the 3rd International Rosario Marciano Piano Competition in Vienna. In the following years she became a prizewinner of various prestigious international competitions, such as the Paderewski International Piano Competition in Bydgoszcz, the Southern Highland International Piano Competition in Australia, the Campillos International Piano Competition, Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Meryem International Piano Competition, the Scriabin International Piano Competition in Moscow and many others. Over the last several years, Svetlana has studied with the Professor Stefan Arnold at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin as well as the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. She has also successfully performed both in solo recitals and with orchestra across Europe and beyond.
