Takashi Yasunami

Born in 1992, Takashi Yasunami started playing piano at the age of three. He finished his Master’s Degree and Doctor of Musical Arts at the Tokyo College of Music and has studied piano with Katsunori Ishii, Farkas Gábor, and Minoru Nojima. During his studies, he researched the complete piano music of Dohnányi and recorded Dohnányi’s 4 Rhapsodien, Op. 11 on T-TOC Records. Takashi was a finalist in the 10th Hamamatsu International Piano Competition and the 1st Shigeru Kawai International Piano Competition, as well as other regional competitions. He has also been featured in concert at the Yokosuka Arts Theater, the Rachmaninov Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, and Kioi Hall.
