Tian Tang

Pianist Tian Tang is currently pursuing her Doctor of Musical Arts degree at Northwestern University Bienen School of Music, under the guidance of James Giles and Jose Ramon Mendez. She received her Master of Music degree from NU as a Program Honors recipient. She obtained a Bachelor of Music degree at San Francisco Conservatory of Music under the instruction of Yoshikazu Nagai. She is a winner of 2017 Northwestern University Concerto & Aria Competition, 2018 Luminarts Classical Music Fellowship, 2018 Thaviu-Isaak Piano Performance Competition, and a prize winner of 2019 Memphis International Piano Competition and 2020 Paderewski International Piano Competition.
