WENBO ZHENG, born in China, began his musical journey at the age of six and quickly developed a profound passion for the piano. Currently a student at the Affiliated Middle School of the China Conservatory of Music, he has been studying under the esteemed guidance of Professor Han Bing for years, refining his technical precision and artistic expression.
Wenbo has emerged as a promising young talent in international piano competitions. His accolades include being shortlisted for the Forth China Music Little Golden Bell 4th Yangtze River Piano National Exhibition (2024), securing Third Prize in the Children’s Junior Group A at the Kharkhorin International Youth Piano Competition (2024), and Third Prize in the Professional Junior Group at the 11th Lanzhou International Piano Festival and Competition (2025). He further claimed First Prize in the Professional Junior Group at both the 6th Seiler & Samick Youth Piano Competition and the Pearl River Kayserburg International Youth Piano Competition (2025).
In July 2025, he made his orchestral debut with the Russian Symphony Orchestra in Xiamen, performing Liszt’s Piano Concerto No. 1 under the baton of celebrated pianist and conductor Danwen Wei.
Later that year, he gave two critically acclaimed solo recitals in Aachen Germany on December 20 and 21, showcasing his versatility and mature musicianship.
