WENQIAN ZHENG was born in Beijing and began his piano studies at the age of five under the guidance of esteemed pianist Professor Han Bing, with whom he continues to train today. His early immersion in music cultivated a playing style defined by technical precision, lyrical sensitivity, and a mature grasp of musical narrative, qualities that have set him apart as a rising young talent.
Wenqian’s competitive achievements reflect his rapid artistic growth: he earned First Prize at the 2024 5th Germany Seiler International Piano Competition, Gold Prizes at the 2023 Hainan Island International Music Festival and IMAARTS International Music Festival, the New Talent Award at the 2024 Changjiang Piano Music Little Golden Bell National Competition, and First Prize in the Children Group C of the 2024 Kharkhorin International Youth Piano Competition. Beyond competitions, Wenqian has made notable orchestral appearances.
