About Piano Cleveland

Xiaoya Wan

Xiaoya Wan has performed with the Orchestra da Camera di Imola directed by Vladimir Ashkenazy. As a soloist, Wan has performed in several international music halls, including the Teatro Ebe Stignani in Imola, Italy; Steinway Hall in New York City; France Nancy Concert Hall; Horowitz Hall and the Beijing Music Hall. Wan has also won many awards and international recognitions, including at the Imola Piano Competition in Italy, the Goodway Young Artists International Piano Competition in China, and the International Grotrian Piano Competition in Germany.

Wan began her musical education at the Beijing Central Conservatory of Music Middle School, where he studied with Shao Dan and Wang Xiaohan. She is currently continuing to develop her artistry under the guidance of Hung-Kuan Chen at The Juilliard School.
