Yunchan Lim performed in his first recital at age nine in a recital hall of the Seoul Arts Center. He made his debut at the Kumho Art Hall in Seoul at age 11 and returned in 2017 for another recital. He has performed the first movement of Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 2 at Kumho Art Hall in Yonsei and has also performed Liszt’s Fantasie über ungarische Volksmelodien, S.123 at the Sori Arts Center of Jeollabuk-do. Yunchan attends Yewon School and Korea National Institute for the Gifted in Arts. He currently studies with Professors Minsoo Sohn and Kyungeun Kim.
